Te Tuhi art gallery!

Now for Tuesday we went on a trip to Te Tuhi. If you do not know Te Tuhi is an art gallery where people can visit and know more about art. . At first I thought the trip to Te Tuhi would be on Wednesday. If you do not know that we are talking about Abstract Art for the past few days for our trip to Te Tuhi trip. So when we arrived at the art gallery at Te Tuhi we saw lots of new different types of art. What I noticed was things was different and they changed every art in Te Tuhi. 

Anyways we waited for a couple of while for Salome and sat down on the mat. While we were seating down Mrs. Komor asked as different types of questions like what technology do use for art and what do u know for Abstract Art.  So some of us answer the question and some of us ask questions. The people the answer the questions are Kensington, Grace and more..  A couple of while Salome arrived and she said the things we we're gonna do. Some of us ask questions and answer questions. Faa'fiu was the only person who have never meted Salome before because she was a new student from last 4 months or last 5 months. 

Anyways she taught us the first thing we do which is to go to the art room and make an Abstract Art. So she taught us an example of how the Abstract Art looks and when I see it I love it. So when we got in the art room we put on our aprons and then sat down to a table where it has pencils's,rubber's,paper-towel and some technology to trace. When Salome finished the instructions that's when we start of doing our Abstract Art.

The process of how I made my Abstract Art. 

1. Find 4 different types of technology that I can trace for my Abstract art. 
2. Draw a star through the Abstract Art.
3. I used vivid to darkened the lines.
4. I painted my work 
5. I used different types of colour which are yellow,red,blue,green and purple.
6. I'm done.

So that's how u make Abstract Art. Anyways to make something Abstract is to tear the art apart for another word is using texture,shapes,lines and more that talks about art. So here are the different types of picture.

So that's the picture taken by Mrs. Komor for us. Our Te Tuhi trip has not yet ended because we are still going around the art gallery and see various types of paintings or projects that is made by different types of artist.

 So the first project we saw was a figure that looked like a drill or a cake and it was made in America which was the colour of the flag of the American flag on it. What I liked about the first project was it well made and you could say the project was made in america because of colour that they use. 

So for the second project we see painting about 2 meanings and giving different types of food or animals. What I learned about the painting was the first kiwi made in New Zealand. What I love about painting is good.


So for the third project is a block writing that says Jesus. It was shocking to know that the block writing was from brown sugar. Surprisingly how you can make things from the sugar. The reason they made it through brown sugar was because the . They called the block writing of Jesus' months and took so long to finish it.

So for the fourth project we went inside in a black room and we saw a big tv with a screen projector. We saw a man standing alone differently and was in a strange suit in the early days and they were a gay man who looked like a woman. I can say about the video I saw was I think they were we were hard but more than it was strange.


So for the fifth project it is a flag of Tonga but it is another symbol made by one person and half of Tonga. I forgot some words about what Salome told me. My feedback for painting is that it's really good and it's well done. The signs reflects about the Tonga peoples.

So then and after we took a tour that's when we returned to our school by return I meant riding a bus to school. What I love about the trip is that I learned what abstract means and how you can make abstract art, I also loved the  different types of abstract paintings or project they made. What I found difficult was to understand a person of painting and why they chose the painting.

Cooking Muffin's

IAL: how to cook muffin's.

Cooking Muffin's 

On Thursday is another day in technology, technology is something we do every Thursday and we do technology in tamaki college, we have 3 different types of groups which is Cooking, Hard Materials and Graphics. Each one of us is in a group, I'm in a cooking group and my teacher is Mrs. Tuipuluto.  

So in my group we we're cooking muffins and I was with Kensington. Before we start cooking we have to repeat the 4 main rules for cooking which is follow instructions,read instructions correctly,know hot to measure correctly and show respect. 

So the steps and instructions for how to make chocolate muffin's is...

1 - 2c of sugar,2 - 1c of sugar, 3 - ½ c of oil, 4  - 1 c of milk, 5 - 1 egg, 6 - 1/4 of cocoa and 7 - combine oil ad mix well,scooping the muffin tray. After the muffin's is cook we added chocolate syrup at the top of our muffin's.

So that's how u cook muffin's. What I could say is that it was yum and I loved it. So we took some photos for muffin's and this is how it looks like.

✍Abstract Art!✍

✍Abstract Art!✍

Today we we're talking about Abstract Art. Abstract Art also talks about the different elements of art which is shapes, texture and colour.
  Anyways we started of by trying to know the meaning of what Abstract Art is. So first of all we looked at the images in the screen and we saw this kind of images. In the Images that I just saw I learnt how a painting and a photograph looks similar or the same. After looking at the images we started of by a loading sign which has different types of colour's in it. So after that we started of by just a simple square and then the square actually has shape's and texture's in it. We also looked at how a Abstract Art looks like. I saw how there's different types of shapes and trying to make a tree with shapes and it turned pretty amazing. 

Part 2
 - We did another lesson for Abstract Art. So for this Lesson we continued learning more about Abstract Art. This time we talked more about shapes and how shapes can make Abstract Art. I learnt the different types of shapes like Cone,Triangle,Rectangle,Oval, Square,Circle, hexagon and more.. For this topic I learnt how u can make shapes with technology for example a phone has different types of shapes in it. Anyways we had to make a google drawing for a technology and it has to be Abstract. Sadly I haven't finished my google drawing because how I have no time. What I learnt is that u can make a piece of art with shapes and textures in it.  

Part 3
For our last lesson for Abstract Art we talked about what kind of technology we used for art, pencils, markers, tap measurement and more. We also look at the different types of technology they use in previous tents and today. We also mentioned a topic about what technology is used for, for example, a phone uses a phone for calling someone or an emergency. I also learned how important art technology for making an art. What I enjoyed was learning the meaning of Abstract Art.

Nachos🌮

Today for Technology we we're cooking Nacho's The food that I cooked was very yummy and I loved Nacho's. I was with Fine and sadly we didn't take a photo..

So the Ingredients for  Nacho's

-Onion

-Mince

-Bake Bean

- Tomato sauce

- Tomato pace

- Cheese

The steps to make Nacho's

Step 1 - Dice the onion and fry until soft, Add the mince and cook until brown

Step 2- Add bake been, tomato sauce and tomato pace.

Step 3 - Stir for 5 mins(minutes)

Step 4 - Serve it with cheese

That's how u make make Nacho's and it's very delicious or yummy(repeated it twice). Anyways it was fun making it.

♨Cooking Mince Gravy♨

Today for Cooking we were going to cook mince gravy and my partner was Cerenity. Anyways we do cooking in technology which is in Tamaki College. What I could say what we cooked was it's very tasty and you should try it? 
So I learnt how to cook Mince Gravy.

-The Ingredients for Mince Gravy-

-Onion

- Vegetables

- Mince

I think that's all

-The Steps-

Step 1- Dice the onion and fry with Mince until it's cook

Step 2 - Add vegetables and ½ c of water with 1 block of vegetables ox.

So that's how u make Mince Gravy, I hope u enjoy.

What I found challenging making Mince Gravy is that to check if it's cook enough. What I didn't found challenging making Mince Gravy is to cut into dice pieces.

What is Technology?

What is Technology?

At Kia Manawanaui Syndicate we are talking about a topic of what Technology is? Well Technology is something that's used for a useful purpose. There are 7 different types of Medical Technology, Transportation, Construction and more ... Technology can be anything even a spoon, I know at first you're confused that a spoon is really a Technology. Anyways Medical is one of the Technology because it is also used for sick patients and that in a hospital or in a clinic or perhaps in a dentist. Transportation can also be used as a Technology if your transportation elsewhere like a country and transportation you can use Car, Bus, Train, Air-plane and Helicopter. Construction is also a Technology used for building houses and more. Akanesi from our class made a Meaning which, a Technology is a useful goal.

In Kia Manawanui Syndicate we play a game that we must say something that demonstrates a technology. For me I said and some of my friends said Toilet, I know it's funny .. Anyways before we played a game we watched a video about a question, What is Technology? - I learned that Technology is really something that's used for everyday life and there are different types of Technology.

My first blog,reflection for term 4 2018

So on holidays I had a sleepover at my friends' home within a week. So what I love about my sleepove is that we clean the house even though it's a daily work and I also love going to the cinema and watching a new movie called Small Foot. So in theaters we have two big packages or a big pack of popcorn and big drinks. What I can say about the movie is that it's funny and pretty boring because it's a kid movie.

There was a trampoline at home there and I jumped on it many times, I also did some yoga moves on the trampoline and also did some gymnastics moves. What I hate doing gymnastics is that it's very difficult and I need to be flexible for a girl like me. I enjoyed cooking a dish with my friend - Nicole- and helping her cook, now I learned how to cook the dish she taught me.

My friends had a sleepover at my home for 3 days. The names are Lancy, Keith, Nicole and Keiran. What we did today was we went to the pools for the first day of sleep. We stayed in the pool for 4 hours and then went home because my dad was gonna go to work at 3:00 o'clock. The pools that we went was Lagoon pools and our home was about 5 minutes or 6 minutes (I think).We eat foods like chips and some Filipino food. 

What I enjoy and love about my friend having a sleepover in my house is that every child is courteous and kind. I told my friends that they could come to our house for another holiday. 

So I still did more for my holidays but I decided to not to blog them because my blog will be too looooonnnnggg .. Fill free comment down below ..

Cooking Quiche🥚

In Technology I was in the cooking group and we made an amazing food which is Quiche🥚. Unfortunately this is my last day of cooking because it's the last day of the week for term 3. My partner is Fine again and she's an okay partner.

 If your wondering what we do in Technology well we cook,draw & build, so this means we have 3(three) different types of group and 3(three) different types of teacher. The names of our Teacher's are...

1. Mrs. Tuipuluto (Cooking teacher - and a female teacher)

2. Mr. Grundy (Hard Materials teacher - and a male teacher)

3. Mrs. Ferguson (Graphics/art teacher - a female teacher)

First of all we had to repeat the 4 main rules which is..

1. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
2. READ INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY
3. KNOW HOW TO MEASURE CORRECTLY
4. SHOW RESPECT

The ingredients..

1. two slips of pastry
2. Ham
3. 4 eggs
4. Oven 
5. Knife
6. Muffin Tray
7. Whisk
8. Cheese 

Steps:

• You first off start by cutting the pastries into circles with a cup or round object and then placing them in the muffin tray.
• Then combining diced ham, cheese and 4 cracked eggs into a mixed bowl.
• Later on pouring the ingredients in the big bowl into the muffin trays nice and easily measured out.
• Now putting it into the oven at 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
• Dig your knife in to make sure that it is ready once it is brown and fully cooked.

When the Quiche was cooked, It was tasty and very yummy or delicious. The photo's that we took.
